Returns & Refunds
We are a father and daughter selling one book. If something is wrong with your order, tell us and we will put it right — quickly, and without making it difficult.
The short version. You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to ask for a refund or a replacement. If the book arrived damaged, we do not ask you to post it back — a photo is enough, and we will send another or refund you in full.
If your book arrived damaged, faulty or incorrect
Email us a photo of the problem within 30 days of delivery. There is no need to return anything and no cost to you. You choose:
- a replacement copy posted the same or next business day, or
- a full refund of everything you paid.
This also applies if your parcel never turns up, or if the tracking shows it delivered but you do not have it.
If you simply changed your mind
Also 30 days from delivery. Send the book back in a condition we could sell again, and we will refund the full purchase price once it reaches us.
Return postage for a change of mind is paid by you. USPS Media Mail is the cheapest way to send a book and usually costs a few dollars. We do not charge a restocking fee.
Cancelling before it ships
We pack and post by hand, usually within one or two business days. If you email us before your order has gone out, we will cancel it and refund you in full, with nothing to send back.
How refunds are paid

If you sent the book back (a change of mind): within
2 business days of the book reaching us. If no return was needed (damaged, faulty, wrong item or never arrived): within 2 business days of us agreeing the refund. Your bank then takes its own time after that — usually 5 to 10 business days — before it shows on your statement. |
How to start a return
Email nicoleanddaddy26@gmail.com with:
- the name the order was placed under, or the order number,
- what went wrong, and
- a photo, if the book is damaged.
A real person reads it. We reply within one business day and will send you the return address if one is needed.
Bought somewhere other than this website?
If you bought The Dinosaur World through Amazon, your return is handled under Amazon's returns process — start it from Your Orders in your Amazon account, as that is faster for you than going through us. Everything on this page applies to orders placed directly at nicoleanddaddy.com.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page reduces the rights you have under United States or California consumer law. Where the law gives you more than this policy does, the law wins.
